ACCREDITATION

To pass an International Open Academy course you will be required to have completed each lesson in full, as well as answering exams at the end of each module.

If your pass rate exceeds 55% on each exam then you will receive a certificate of completion, to recognise your achievement.

All courses International Open Academy produce are annually assessed and accredited by the International Council for Online Educational Standards (www.icoes.org). This third-party assessment of their courses rigorously tests the content, design and integrity of each course to ensure the highest standards for online education are being achieved.

When successfully completing an IOA course, students can choose to purchase an ICOES certificate that recognises the achievement, from this third-party institution. The ICOES certificate underlines to employers, colleagues and customers that your online course is approved by a body that requires its members, such as IOA, to meet specific standards in the provision of online education.

You will find the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) logo on the course description pages, where these apply. Many professions require you to do complete these.
